Unfriended: Dark Web now showing at SM Cinema

This August, SM Cinema is bringing to the silver screen Unfriended: Dark Web, a standalone sequel to the 2015 film Unfriended.

This movie allows us to traverse the computer-mediated world, bringing us from the World Wide Web to the deeper and anonymous side of the Internet, the dark web.

A young man in the story gets a chance to possess a stranger's laptop and goes online to video chat with his friends, revealing to them what he found: eerie files containing hard-to-believe video footages on tge stolen computer.

The teenagers then proceed to play a game together until uninvited mysterious entities with a murderous agenda pops out of nowhere and begins to make sinister threats against the group of friends. The rest of the film shows how everything went out of control, turning a planned night of fun and games into horror.
