Honda Strengthens Sustainability Efforts Through Two-Leg Tree Planting Drive

Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the country, in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR – CENRO), the City Government of Tanauan, and the City Government of Biñan, spearheaded a two-leg tree-planting project in Batangas and Laguna in support of local reforestation, ecosystem restoration, and community development, bringing together Honda employees and LGU officials, alongside selected CENRO representatives planting a total of 400 Kamagong seedlings. The first leg was held along Bagbag River in Tanauan City, Batangas, on September 18. The planting of Kamagong seedlings will help in the riverbank rehabilitation, riparian vegetation recovery, and erosion control, helping to create a more stable and resilient river ecosystem.
