MSI welcomes airing of Discovery esports TV special in PH

MSI recently brought the excitement of its partnership with Discovery Channel by staging an exclusive event held at the 55 Events Place in Quezon City. MSI has partnered with Discovery to celebrate the rise of eSports as a legitimate revenue-generating industry that brings millions of people together across the world, including the Philippines. In connection with the partnership, Discovery is airing a TV special titled Esports: The Rise of the New King.

The event was graced by some of the country’s most-followed social media influencers, media representatives, leading store dealers, and MSI’s valued partners in the tech and gaming industry topbilled by AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA.

The attendees were treated to a lot of surprises, raffle prizes, a sumptuous buffet dinner, and, of course, a ton of new information about the esports industry and the latest offerings of MSI and its partners, including an 8-minute sneak peek of the TV special. A replay telecast is set to be aired on August 3, 2019 at 9:50PM.

MSI’s newest offerings designed for gamers and content creators were also showcased at the event for the guests to freely enjoy. These include an all-star MSI MPG SEKIRA 500G PC demo build featuring the MSI MEG X570 ACE motherboard powered by the AMD RYZEN 5 3600 processor. The MSI PC demo battlestation also came with the MSI OPTIX MPG27CQ Curved Gaming Monitor, MSI IMMERSE GH70 Gaming Headset, MSI VIGOR GK80 Gaming Keyboard, and the MSI CLUTCH GM70 Gaming Mouse.

A night filled with key information, product updates, and cool prizes

The event was packed not only with new products but also with a wave of key information and updates from MSI and its partners that PC enthusiasts and gamers would enjoy.

Highlighting MSI as the most trusted name in gaming and esports by pushing the performance of gaming rigs beyond limits through its ever-growing product lineup were MSI DPS Product Specialist Bryan Chen, MSI Notebook Sales Manager Edward Shen, and MSI Notebook Marketing Associate Daryl Carpena.

Intel Philippines, represented by Training Manager Willy Nacional, also presented its latest solutions and reiterated its commitment to deliver always-on 5G connectivity and advances in its technology to provide businesses and the society with the best computing experience possible.

NVIDIA Philippines represented by Social Media and Community Manager Hirro Kuizon, offered the audience with the latest engine updates for gamers and PC enthusiasts. These include an introduction video about DirectX Raytracing (DXR) for GeForce RTX and GTX graphics processing units as well as the several new workloads their GPUs can now perform to deliver the best possible gaming experience.

AMD Philippines represented by National Sales Manager for Components Sonny Sy concluded the lineup of partner presentations by discussing the high performance of the all-new Ryzen 3000 processors which have taken over the world by storm.

But the night didn’t stop there. Three lucky attendees were drawn as raffle prize winners of an AMD RYZEN 5 3600X processor, MSI MEG X570 ACE motherboard, and an MSI GP62 7REX gaming laptop. All attendees were also handed out with an MSI goodie bag and Discovery mousepads to cap the night off.
