Hot on the heels of its global unveiling in London last month, the Honor 10 is finally launched in the Philippines in partnership with Shopee. Ahead of the local launch, the Honor 10 already sold one million units globally. Honor itself continues to lead as the number one smartphone e-brand in China. Since its inception, the brand has reached 100% growth in overseas markets: Honor ranks number five in India, and number three for 11 consecutive months, head-to-head with Apple and Samsung, in Russia.
"We believe that the recipe of success is simple -- give consumers a really good product," says Wang Yang, Country Director for Honor." That's what we work hard for everyday at Honor to continue to bring in competitive products to the market. We are very grateful for the massive support that we have received so far for the Honor 10 across the different markets, and we have been looking forward to this day where we can finally make our flagship smartphone available in the Philippines."
Features and specifications
Taking inspiration from northern lights (aurora borealis), the Paris Aesthetics Center combined a 3D glass back with nano-scale optical coating composed of 15 layers of shimmering color, resulting in a colorful, radiant look of the Honor 10 from any angle. On the front, the handset carries a 5.84-inch FullView FHD+ screen, 19:9 bezel-less display, and an 86% screen-to-body ratio. For security, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is placed under the glass on the front.
The smartphone's dual camera system (24MP+16MP) features Honor's AI 2.0 technology with F1.8 aperture and 4K video recording capability. The AI technology allows the phone's camera system to do real-time recognition of more than 500 scenarios across 22 categories, thanks to the industry-first Semantic Image Segmentation technology, and various shooting modes, in addition to bokeh mode.
At the core of the Honor 10 beats an NPU processor (HiSilicon Kirin 970) coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The handset also comes with Honor Super Charge 5V/4.5A with 3400mAh battery that can be recharged 50% within 25 minutes. The Honor 10 runs on the latest EMUI 8.2.
