Coinciding with the announcement of Nadine Lustre as its newest brand ambassador, Samsung Philippines introduced to the country the Samsung Galaxy J6.
“We designed the Galaxy J6 to be your ultimate break buddy,” says Dan Torres, Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation (SEPCO) Marketing Communications Head for IT & Mobile, during a recent media launch held at VERSUS Barcade in Uptown Parade, BGC.
"Everyone is busy rushing off from one place to another, or stuck in a line or in traffic. This is a great way to escape to new worlds as you go through your routines, whether through movies, shows, playlists, or games."
“Nadine is the epitome of ‘next level entertainment’ because of the multiple projects she’s been doing left and right. We, at Samsung, are so excited to officially announce her addition to our family!” Torres added.
The most conspicuous feature of the Galaxy J6 is the 5.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display (720 x 1480p) which comes with a virtually bezel-free design, resulting in a large screen area that delivers remarkable color clarity. The viewing experience is easy on the eyes, thanks to the display's capability to adjust according to ambient lighting.
Complementing the Galaxy J6's notable display, Samsung has equipped it with Dolby Atmos audio technology for crystal-clear sound reproduction.
Beating at the core of the Galaxy J6 is a 14nm Exynos 7870 octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz that enables the phone to run multiple applications simultaneously, including high-resolution and graphically rich games. From videos, songs to games, the Galaxy J6 is a dynamic handset designed to handle various forms of mobile entertainment.
Apart from the powerful processor, the Galaxy J6 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage (expandable up to 256GB). In terms of imaging, the Galaxy J6 carries 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with adjustable LED flash. Both cameras have F1.9 aperture. Running on Android 8.0 Oreo, the dual-SIM device packs a 3000mAh battery, and features Face Recognition and Fingerprint Scanner for security.
The Samsung Galaxy J6 will be available in Philippine stores starting tomorrow (June 16) in black and gold color variants for the price of PhP 13,990.
