Bringing more gaming-centric smartphones to the market, ASUS Philippines recently unveiled the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant of the ZenFone Max Pro (ZB602KL) during its Max Pro: Game Zone event held at the Cyberzone Annex of SM City North EDSA in Quezon City.
The said event is the brand's first-ever mobile gaming festival in the country, staged in partnership with SM Cyberzone, as well as local and international game developers.
Besides boasting a higher RAM+ROM combination, the ZenFone Max Pro version flaunts a 5.99-inch 18:9 FHD+ display and a 16MP+5MP dual rear camera system. Nevertheless, other features and specifications remain the same as that of the ZenFone Max Pro M1 (ZB601KL), being powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor and a 5000mAh integrated battery module.
The launch of the new model of the ZenFone Max Pro, in addition to the Computex-unveiled ROG Phone, is part of ASUS's initiatives in bringing more gaming-centric handsets by leveraging on its gaming heritage and differentiating itself from other smartphone brands that are focusing too much on mobile imaging.
The beefed-up ZenFone Max Pro is now available for preorder for the price of PhP 13,995 until July 22, 2018, coming with a PhP 3,698-worth of bundle, consisting of a JBL T450BT headset and a ZenFone Max Pro clear case. Visit any ASUS or ZenFone concept store, kiosk, and accredited store to preorder the smartphone.
