After its launch in Metro Manila last year, Piip, the first mobile application created to help businesses promote products and services effortlessly, is now on its way to expand not only in the Philippines, but also in other markets in Asia.
Enabling its users called Piipsters to receive latest updates without unwanted ads, Piip is a new messenger app that gives customers the ability to chat with friends, discover promotions through the billboard and follow merchants that they like. The app allows users to filter the most relevant brands or merchants, and receive updates from them. Users can also contact the sellers directly for questions and comments.
Other features of the app include geotargeted promos, allowing Piipsters to discover great deals near their location and view them on a map. Deals and promos can also be shared on social media. Piip is now available for free download on Apple App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.
Established in 2011, the company behind Piip, Piip Mobile AG, was founded by Alexander Sporri. Re-engineered from the ground up, the new Piip app went to public beta in the first half of 2016 in Belgrade, Serbia. Piip Mobile AG is a Swiss joint-stock corporation (Aktiengesellschaft), constituted under the laws of the Swiss Confederation.
