It was a Friday full of treat for the both sports and entertainment fans as Austin Creed, more known as WWE Superstar Xavier Woods and the creator of gaming vlog UpUpDownDown, hit the country on Bonifacio Day for a day's jam of gaming, wrestling, and everything that is Filipino in-between.
Everyone inside the Mall of Asia were definitely in for a treat of a lifetime when Woods, a member of the 5-time tag team champions The New Day, held a fan meetup, making the complex a very busy evening for the local sporting scene with a FIBA qualifying game held inside the nearby Mall of Asia Arena.
The WWE Superstar also hit a Playbook branch in Circuit Makati wherein gamers had a chance to play and interact with him. It was also his second time to visit the place; the first one took place during a WWE Manila tour in September 2016.
One of the hottest commodities in Vince McMahon's promotion, Xavier Woods isn't just a winner in the wrestling world, but also in eSports. The Guinness World Records recognized him and his own YouTube channel UpUpDownDown as the Most Subscribed Celebrity Video Game Channel last April. Outside the squared circle, Woods is currently attaining his PhD in Educational Psychology. Indeed, these accomplishments made him one of the notable icons in pop culture today.
