The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) officially opens the call for entries for the 61st Anvil Awards, the country’s most prestigious award-giving body in public relations.
This year’s theme, “The 61st Second: Pushing Past Possibilities,” challenges communicators to surpass conventional norms and go beyond what is expected. The theme underscores the evolving nature of communication in an age where relevance, speed, and impact are more intertwined than ever before.
As organizations continue to navigate the complex intersection of technology, public sentiment, and purpose-driven storytelling, the Anvil Awards continues to recognize exceptional PR programs, tools, and professionals that shape narratives and lead meaningful change.
To guide entrants in crafting award-worthy submissions, PRSP will host the annual “How to Win an Anvil” session on August 26. The face-to-face seminar will walk participants through this year’s updated mechanics, improved judging criteria and rubrics, and provide insider tips from past awardees and jury members. The session will also serve as the formal introduction of the 61st Anvil Awards theme and its meaning for the industry.
Key Dates to Remember:
“In PR, it’s that extra push that turns a good campaign into one that makes a lasting mark on communities and shapes the industry” shared Ms. Ana Ruby Pista, Chair of the 61st Anvil Awards. “That’s the essence we’re highlighting in this year’s Anvil Awards. We invite PR professionals to take the extra step and seize that moment where the right strategy makes a difference and purpose truly connects with people.”
After six decades, the Anvil Awards continues to uphold the gold standard in communications excellence, awarding programs and tools that are not only strategic and creative, but also anchored in truth and measurable results.
