System integrators, partner resellers, and members of the local blogging community gathered at the Seagate Security Forum event which was held at Fairmont Hotel in Makati City last September. Spearheaded by Seagate, the forum aimed to gain a better understanding and educate guests on the new technologies for safety.
Facilitated by multimedia personality James Deakin, the said event hosted a panel discussion where attendees learned from industry experts on some of safe city best practices which can be implemented on communities, financial services, hotels, and resorts. Panelists included personalities from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and Accommodation Establishments Security and Safety Coordinating Council Inc. (AESSCCI).
The Security Forum also featured an exhibition area where Seagate highlighted its storage solutions, primarily the SkyHawk lineup. Featuring ample storage capacities and ensuring reliable performance, SkyHawk hard disk drives (HDDs) cater to big data, analytics, and surveillance requirements, which are all essential in safe city projects. Dahua Technology's surveillance systems, Synology's network-attached storage (NAS) devices, and solutions from Axis Technology were also present at the exhibition area.
The Seagate Security Forum was made possible with the partnership and sponsorship of Axis Communications, CP Plus, Dahua Technology, and Synology.
