NVIDIA Powers Vast Majority of TOP500 Supercomputers, Wins #1 GREEN500
The latest TOP500 list shows that NVIDIA’s GPUs and networking are increasingly being used to accelerate the world’s fastest supercomputers. Nearly 70 percent of the systems, including 8 of the top 10, are powered by NVIDIA technology. NVIDIA’s own Selene supercomputer -- powered with new NVIDIA DGX A100 640GB systems and NVIDIA Mellanox InfiniBand -- ranks as the world’s fifth fastest supercomputer. On the accompanying GREEN500 list, which measures the energy efficiency of the TOP500 systems, NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD took first place.
