Acer has been named one of the World’s Top Companies for Women in 2023, marking the second consecutive year of being recognized on the Forbes list. With this, Acer climbed from 291 to 259 and ranked 12th in the Semiconductors, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Technology Hardware & Equipment category. Forbes surveyed 70,000 women across 37 territories in partnership with Statista, and the evaluation criteria included workplace practices, gender pay equity, handling of discrimination, and equal opportunities. The recognition reflects Acer's ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment. In the Philippines, Sue Ong-Lim is the managing director of Acer, leading a workforce of 139 employees.
