Globe further enhances its support to the Department of Education (DepEd) by helping public school educators keep up with the demands of the new normal through free professional development training designed to provide teachers with essential knowledge and skills on digital literacy, blended learning and 21st century learning methods. The program is part of Globe’s Global Filipino Teachers (GFT) initiative and is being implemented through a combination of webinars and downloadable self-paced materials for teachers to apply their learnings. Grundfos Foundation’s grant helps bring clean water to the community in Baseco

Grundfos Philippines along with ASSIST Asia will install two water treatment systems and initiate sustainable programs on livelihood and improved sanitation With more than 60,000 inhabitants in a 53-hectare land area, the Baseco compound is one of the largest and densest slums in Manila. This congested community suffers from poor sanitation and access to safe and affordable drinking water. Brother Philippines and SEA Institute donate to Batangas public schools

In line with its continued thrust to promote environment-friendly practices and provide support for underprivileged communities, Brother Philippines once again partnered with non-profit organization the SEA Institute to donate printers and toners to public schools in the town of Mabini, Batangas. The donation, which was done in two legs in September and October 2020, saw eight public schools from Mabini each receive a Laser Multifunction Machine, toner cartridges, and reams of bond paper for the teachers’ and students’ needs.
