PLDT, Smart pilot Paybox kiosks in key stores for customer convenience

As part of its push to support and simplify the lives of their customers, PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) have launched Paybox, a self-service payment kiosk machine in key stores. Through Paybox, PLDT and Smart customers can pay their phone and internet bills conveniently and safely. Paybox accepts cash, credit or debit cards, PayMaya QR codes, and virtual change, eliminating face-to-face interaction and allowing customers to do contactless payments in select stores. Customers can also combine two payment methods for a more convenient transaction, and the only information that customers need is their PLDT or Smart account number. Payments will also be reflected real time on their accounts.
